Six degrees around Davis Murphy
Hello again. Yes yes, I know I haven't updated in a long time. I must fervently apologize. I've been fairly busy as of late. I've been working a lot. I've also begun packing up for Move #1 to Dad's new house (later this month), which will then turn to Move #2 to Florida (later next month). I went to wedding (I'll cover that later), and I started playing WoW on a new server, as well as Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004, which ended up being surprisingly addictive.
So, I went to one of my cousin's wedding up in Pennsylvania. This was basically my last chance to see my Mum's side of the family prior to going to school, so it was nice to see everyone again and say my “See you on the other side!” to everyone considering it'll most likely be well over a year before I see any of them again. However, despite the best efforts between myself, my cousin Kristyn and her boyfriend, I failed to get drunk. Cursed Irish geneology.
So, this is probably the most interesting thing (to me at least) about the wedding. My cousin Stacey married this guy named Josh. Josh just happens to the nephew of some people that my family used to vacation with back when I was younger. I've not seen these people in years, and we didn't even know they were related. So, quite unexpectedly, here they are at the wedding, and quite oddly, we're now related. It just blows my mind how simple it is to connect people to one another. Like that damn Kevin Bacon game.
So, you think I'd just slap you with a short rant and say “Hey, I'm not dead!”? Well you'd be wrong. It's not much, but there's quite a few new pieces for the Sketch of the Day section over in murf-ART, as well as a link to a webcomic pointed out to me by FullSail roommate. Sadly though, I have no new comics for you. I've hit a rut in writing the damn things. I'll try and get back on schedule here.
