Digital Spring Cleaning
Man. I love this CMS system I made. I feel the need to rant more often due how much freaking easier it is. Anyways… time to do what I do.
I should note, that I've not done anything towards build the new murf-ART since I last talked to you. I apologize. I'm been a general mix of busy and lazy these past weeks. With less then 4 months to go, it's time to start looking onward. Where will I be heading? What will I be doing? Ya know, that kinda thing. About what I was doing the same time last year.
I've got a lot of projecct work to do this week. Additionally, I've still yet to try and use the code Mike G taught me at our last meeting, so I'm going to try and get that under way as it is important to the progression of murf-ART development. It's odd how I go “Well, I only really need these one or two things.” only to turn around and figure out about 3 more things I want to learn to make it easier to update. I tell, I can't get enough PHP. The stuff is awesome.
In other news, I've been plotting the yet-to-come murf-DESIGNS site. Something a bit more professional in comparison to the anti-Internet Explorer murf-STUFF. Something to promote my skills and lure in potential clients. (NOTE: I'm more then willing to work now! Shoot me an e-mail if your in need of a man of my talents.) Going through several concepts. We'll see what I come up with.
As for the title of today's rant, it refers to the task I've been working at for the day. Giving my computers a nice little tune up and cleansing. Starting with my VAIO, I backed up the important stuff to my Mac, and then did a complete system recovery. I'm currently in the process of reinstalling my software and the like. Including the infamous Final Fantasy XI which I've recently begun playing again. I assure you, no life eating this time. Well, maybe a little…
So, while I'm working on my PC, I'll be also working on my Mac getting my currently disorganized stuff into order, and working in the old stuff from my PC where applicable.
