BOO! Did I scare ya?
Greetings there. I assure you that beneath the non-updated shell that is murf-STUFF I am, in fact, active. Both in areas pertaining and not pertaining to murf-STUFF. Let us discuss.
Yes, I am now done with school. I have my Associate Degree in Digital Arts & Design, which I must say is pretty cool. Sadly, I do not have a job that makes use of this nifty thing I have acquired and that is not nearly as cool. I am however making my best attempt to remedy that situation. Obtaining a job in my field of choice is a goal I do not wish to lose site of. It seems however that the pickings are, as they say, slim in my general area of Charlottesville.
Oh yea! That's right. No more Florida for Davis. I'm done with that place. I've moved back home and am trying to find work in C-ville with very little success it seems. Discouraging as it may be, I remain on the positive side of things knowing that the job I want is there and it will come with time. I just need to be patient, yet quick to ensnare it. Wish me luck in this endeavor, because I do seem to need it.
Now, let us discuss murf-STUFF. On the surface, things may seem as stagnant as they've ever been these past months but I assure you that is not the case so much anymore. murf-ART is coming back and will be better than it has ever been. Since I returned home, I've been making some time to build the new murf-ART. Things have been steady for production, working on various things as the days progress. PHP is in place for the main page, a main index of normal art, and a display page. This is tied into a CMS Admin System for me to be able to update more easily than I used to. Next in the grand scheme of things is the big beast that will be the Sketch of the Day section. This requires some tricky code that'll take me a while to get just right. So given the proper amount of time, and expecting no major delays, murf-ART should be making it's triumphant return sometime soon. Look forward to it, okay?
Before I depart back in the depths of the internet once again, I'd like to let you know that you should never give up hope on seeing this place stay stagnant forever. I always strive to bring it back. Once murf-ART is done, the next project will come, and it'll be glorious. Anyways, you all take care and remember that murf thinks you all rule, who ever you are!
