murfSTUFF

Time ebbs forward as per the usual state of affairs of the world. With time brings change, and with change brings new life. Glorious! If you're a regular visitor to murf-STUFF you'll notice a light bit of redecorating has occurred. Nothing fancy, murf-STUFF 3.1 we'll call it I guess. Changed my background image, moved my “New & Updates” closer to the top for your general convenience , added graphical headers as opposed to just that boring ol' Verdana font. Now the news not only filters by six entries, but auto filters to be RED when the news is under 1 week old, and news goes away after 2 months, or if there are more then 6 news postings.

You may also make note that “Inane Babblings” has changed a bit as well. Well it is now set to a randomizer to pull out different headers, each roughly meaning the same thing (stupid talk), but I've got some fancy words in there. So that you don't go all refresh-monkey on me trying to see them, I'll list em out for ya:

Inane Babbling
Absurd Blathering
Mundane Banter
Asinine Chatter
Half-witted Yapping
Idiotic Prattle
Ludicrous Confabulation

I had some fun with a Thesaurus I'll tell you what. I'm most proud of “Ludicrous Confabulation.” That's just all sorts of terminological goodness right there!

In addition to the light cosmetic changes out here in murf-STUFF. The December aught-five artwork has made it's way into the murf-ART archives as well. See? I'm not resting on my laurels. I've got the goods to go along with this little spiel. I've got some other little personal projects that I'm working at right now as well. Coding the nights away, playing with the PHP. All sorts of fun and stuff!

Other then this simple stuff, I've really got nothing else to banter on about today, so I'll return to depths of Dreamweaver and get back to work. Y'all go and browse around whilst I get cracking to bring you stuff! Cheers!

Salutations inter-peoples. Allow me to once again batter you with mundane mumblings of my enigmatic thought ejections unto the digital plane.

As usual, things are slow here at the murf-STUFF. However, slow they may be, but today children, I bring you a gift. That's right. After months of coding, long waits and other random interventions, murf-ART enters the 3.0 design. Sporting a lovely CSS driven layout, and dynamic content and a new system for me to add new art with excessive ease by comparison to days long past. A special shout-out to Mike G., my awesome teacher who graced with such wonderful PHP tools so that I might make this happen. A big round of applause for him folks. He is my hero.

Back to the murf-ART discussion. Sadly, nothing new in her archives. I wanted to get it all up and running, fresh and new. Now that everything is working like a dream, it's time to hit the backlog. It's is ginormous! I counted AT LEAST 109 pieces of paper (some are doubled sided) so there is quite a bit of stuff coming. Needs to be scanned, tweaked and uploaded. So, we'll hopefully get that rolling soon enough.

Also, I've begun working stuff for ILB's redesign. That'll be easier section to redo, but I want to go a little more intense on the style and CSS, so that'll still take some time.

So, this is all I have to say today.

Also… before I depart back into the digital abyss, I'd like to say a quick goodbye to a great fighter for wildlife conservation around the world. I've made fun of him in times past, but who could hardly blame me. So… Steve Irwin… rest easy mate. You'll be missed.
