You know what sucks? Money does.
Actually, I take that back. Money sucks, but is exceedingly handy in a finance based society such as the United States. What sucks really is OWING people money. Debt sucks, and it sucks hard.
Today, I'm a little less in debt. Today is a glorious day. Today, after just shy of five years, I strolled into the bank slapped down a check and was like: “Guess what bitches? That truck? Out there? IT'S MINE NOW! HAHA!”
Today I finally sealed the deal and made the final payment on my car loan courtesy of an advance on my tax refund from my mother. It's nice to have that burden off of my shoulders. Now if only my student loans would disappear so handily. Oh well.
With my truck now paid off, and a hefty chunk of change back in my pocket each month I may end up getting a small loan later this year and finally pick up a laptop, and then save up towards finally getting a copy of Adobe CS#. I say “#” under the idea that I have no idea when I'll have that saved up or what version Adobe will be up to at that point.
Of course, if I get a laptop it's totally going to be a MacBook Pro. I'll probably transfer my CS2 stuff to the laptop and put CS# on my Power Mac. At least that's what I'd like to do. So who knows?

I live with my Mum, courtesy of my student loans draining most of my monthly income. As it stands, we have five cats. Not too long ago, one of said cats decided that while I was away playing Dungeons & Dragons, that spraying my desk/computer monitors was a good idea.
This prompted me to act a several things. First being to clean off my desk, which was in dire need of doing anyway. As I disconnected my computers and cleaned off my desk, I knew this could be advantageous. We had been laying new bamboo floors in the house, and I wanted to rearrange my room anyway. So, we gutted the room, laid new floors, I bought a new desk and so on. My room actually looks pretty nice now, and my desk is setup to let me have quick access to a lot of things that we horribly setup in my prior arrangement.
Previously, in order to use my scanner (which is part of the printer, I had to get up and move halfway across my room. It doesn't seem that bad, but when you need to do this several times when scanning multiple pages of stuff, it gets annoying. Now my scanner is right beside me, allowing me to access it more easily. Hence, I may be more prone to want to finally get some stuff scanned for murf-ART.
Anyways, I'm not really sure where I'm going with this right now. Just kind of rambling. I'll post some pictures of it later. It is a pretty sweet desk.

Well, as it stands, murf-STUFF has been totally lackluster in the way of updates for way too long a time. So, let me get you up to speed on things.
First off, expect to see murf-STUFF stay this way for a while. I mean this along the lines of, no new updates or other such additions or alterations. I want to overhaul this badboy. Not entirely, but most of it. I’m in the midst of learning a few new tricks with new technologies that depending on how things go, I may be wanting to implement them to add a little bit of jazz to the site. Not to mention another redesign.
I need to rethink what I have currently, what I want, and even more still things I don’t even know about yet. How things work and all that jazz. I’ll get it figured out.
At some point this year murf-STUFF will be back. Whole, fresh and new. I’m not sure when as currently I’ve got a mostly full plate. Between work, a new girlfriend, learning new things and running/creating a D&D campaign, my free time seems rather sparse.
So that’s the current deal. Hope it’s no trouble on the few people I know who come here (namely cause they bitch at me about it).

Last time I made a post from an iPod touch was from the Apple Store in Manhattan. Now I'm doing it from my own iPod touch that I bought with my Christmas money. Which is even more awesomesauce.
